Thank you for visiting Eating What is Given: a YouTube channel about exploring and sharing food with the amazing people we meet from all over the world.

This channel is for people who understand that true connections happen over food and drink. We want to explore how food is deeply ingrained into culture, and can provide a gateway to understanding the world. Each person has a story, and each meal we share brings forward our most important feelings and emotions.

Our goal is not only to catalogue these food-driven experiences, but also inspire you step out and explore more of the world. I want to provide information on how to travel and eat in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar food. I want to encourage discomfort and vulnerability, and ultimately to trust yourself enough to try new things and go new places.
